Criminalistics is a series of analyses carried out in order to recognize, collect, identify, and compare the physical evidence found in a crime scene in order to provide evidence for the legal system. Studies are carried out on scientific principles for the recognition, documentation, preservation and analysis of the traces left at the crime scene.
